Jane Campbell
Jane M. Campbell, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
A native of Asheville, NC, she has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 61 years and was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church. Jane loved sewing and being an artist and painting in her spare time. She was also a very good cook.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Olive Murphy; father Dr. G.W. Murphy; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Don Brisby.
Survivors include her husband, Dan W. Campbell; daughter and her husband, Beverly and Russ Roop, Ringgold; son and his wife, Walter and Amy Campbell, Smyrna; four grandsons, Sam Roop, Adam Roop, Westbrook Campbell and David Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Covenant Presbyterian Church with Pastor Eric Mullinax officiating. A private interment will be held on Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Tuesday before the service at the church.
