Joyce Lane
Joyce Ann Grundy Lane, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully in her home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at age 77.
Joyce was a loving, caring and giving woman. She had a fun loving personality, enjoyed traveling, walking on the beach, fishing, growing flowers and collecting snail figurines. She was a graduate of UTC with a BS degree. Joyce worked for Cutter Laboratories where she met her husband, Earlon. She finished her career at TVA where she retired.
A devoted wife, mother, nana, aunt, and sister, Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 57 years, Earlon Lane; two daughters, Tracie Lane and Barbara (Justin) Stallans; three granddaughters, Ashley (David) Swanson, Stacie Jones, and Candice McCullar; five great-grandchildren, Samuel, Nicholas, Shyanna, Christian, and Katherine; and a brother, Terry (Ann) Frizzell, of Lexington, S.C., and many more family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, in the chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel with Pastor Calvin Nunley officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5–8 p.m. and Saturday from 12–1 p.m. at the Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
