Pedestrian Struck And Killed On Dayton Pike Wednesday Evening

A female pedestrian was killed on Dayton Pike Wednesday evening.
 
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the 14,800 block of Dayton Pike.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office confirmed the adult pedestrian involved in the incident was pronounced deceased upon arrival by HCEMS personnel. 
 
According to the preliminary investigation, the woman was stuck by two vehicles, one going south, the other going north. Both vehicles stopped and the drivers have been cooperative with law enforcement.
This was not a hit-and-run incident.  

The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
