Glenn Cartwright
Glenn S. Cartwright, 78, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, surrounded by his family at his home.
He was born in Cleveland, on Aug. 27, 1940, to the late JC and Beatrice Allmon Cartwright.
Glenn was a well-known carpenter working with the local union for many years. He loved to fish, going to yard sales, flea markets and shopping at pawn shops. He was a member of Four Points Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha Dean Cartwright, his children, Pam Cartwright Cabrera and her husband Michael, Glenda Cartwright Cusimano and her husband Mark, his grandchildren, Jessica Cabrera Cannon and her husband John, Kegan Cronan, step granddaughter and great-granddaughter, Heather Cusimano and MyKenzie, his sister, Barbara Bivens and her husband, Elzie, his brother, James Cartwright and his wife, Nancy, a special uncle, Jr. Allmon, along with several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Pastor Benny Watson and Reverend Roy Tatum officiating.
The committal service will follow at Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Jerome Stewart, Dave Malone, Josh Malone, Dana Swank, Maynard Herron, John Cannon and Wesley Hicks serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
