Lee University's highly acclaimed A Cappella ensemble Voices of Lee performed in Dr. David Jeremiah’s Christmas on Broadway spectacular, “Make the Season Bright.” The show, filmed for television earlier this month at the historic Beacon Theatre in New York City, will air Thursday through Monday on participating networks.

In addition to Voices of Lee and a special Christmas address by Dr. Jeremiah, the program will feature the Gaither Vocal Band, the Big Band Christmas sound of Charles Billingsley and Michael Sanchez, and holiday comedy with Dennis Swanberg.

“We were honored to be a part of this Christmas Spectacular on Broadway...it was a wonderful experience!” said Danny Murray, director of Voices of Lee.

Voices, founded in 1994, is currently travelling across the U.S. on its Christmas tour. Earlier this year, the ensemble appeared at Carnegie Hall in New York City and performed for Wacker Corporation in Munich, Germany. Voices of Lee has also performed at the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris and Ely Cathedral in England, been featured performers for Christmas at the White House, and appeared on the 2016 CMA Christmas Celebration TV special.

Beginning Thursday, “Make the Season Bright” will be available for viewing on several networks, in addition to being uploaded to YouTube.
