Jermaine Thomas, 37, Arrested For Sunday Shooting On Davis Avenue

Jermaine Thomas, 37, has been arrested for shooting Arthur Smith, 33, on Sunday.

He is charged with especially aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, and felon carrying or possessing a weapon.

The shooting happened on Davis Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
 
Smith sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
 
CPD Violent Crimes investigators determined the Thomas and Smith were at a residence.
Thomas produced a handgun and demanded that Smith give him everything he had. While struggling to get the gun from Thomas, Smith was shot in the leg.
