Tim Gobble Among 3 Finalists For TBI Chief

Former Bradley County Sheriff Tim Gobble is among three finalists for director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Other finalists are Knoxville Police Chief David Rausch and TBI Deputy Director Jason Locke.

Mr. Gobble, who once was city manager for East Ridge, is on the state Board of Parole.

A commission recommended the finalists for consideration by Governor Bill Haslam.

The selection process started when Mark Gwyn announced his retirement in February.
