Sherlin Clark
Sherlin Ann Ervin Clark, 60, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in a local hospital.
She was a 1976 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She received her B.S. degree from Bethune Cookman University. Sherlin retired from UTC. She was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church and served on the Greeters Team. She enjoyed listening to music and watching HGTV.
Sherlin was preceded in death by her father, Bee Ervin.
Survivors include her son, Michael Sutton, Sr.; mother, Eather Mae Ervin; grandchildren, Marquis Sutton, Tykese Sutton, Michael Sutton, Jr., and Major Sutton; brother, Wallace Ervin; uncle, Napoleon Ellington; aunt, Betty Jude all of Chattanooga; several cousins; other relatives and friends.
Sherlin will lie in state on Friday, Feb. 1, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 2, at noon at New Covenant Fellowship Church with Dr. Bernie Miller as the eulogist. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
