Volleyball Mocs Fall At Furman in Five

The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team built a two-set lead in Saturday's match against Furman inside Maclellan Gymnasium before eventually falling, 3-2 (25-27, 16-25, 33-31, 25-23, 15-11), in a wild and dramatic thriller during Southern Conference action.
 
Chattanooga falls to 5-14 overall and 0-6 in league action following the loss. Furman improves its mark to 2-15 overall and 2-4 in the SoCon after successfully fighting off six total UTC match points during the match.

Chattanooga (5-14, 0-6 SoCon) continues SoCon play next Friday night in Spartanburg, S.C., at Wofford before heading to Charleston, S.C., on Saturday to face The Citadel.
Friday's match is slated for a 6 p.m. start while Saturday carries a 4 p.m. first serve time. Coverage links can be found on the schedule page.
