Win Moves Bruisers To State Quarterfinals

GPS blanked Knox Catholic Thursday night, 3-0, in the DII-AA East Region soccer championship.

The win moves the Bruisers ahead to the TSSAA state tournament with a first round bye and a berth in the quarterfinals.

Three different players netted goals for GPS, Kennedy Ball scored on an assist from Ashley Grant, Alex Magill scored, assisted by Sydney Morris, and Grant was successful on a penalty kick.
