Dr. Rick Rader, the director of the Morton J. Kent Habilitation Center at Orange Grove was appointed a member of the Executive Board of the Friends of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities.
The appointment is for a two-year term, 2020-2022.
The Friends of NCBDDD is a coalition of government and private sector participants. Members work together to enhance the mission and activities of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities in identifying the causes of birth defects and developmental disabilities; helping children to develop and reach their full potential; and promoting health and well-being among people of all ages with disabilities, including blood disorders.
