Several area veterans, family members and friends gathered to witness the unveiling of Connecting Veterans to Resources newly renovated center, which includes a computer lab, conference room, two office spaces, waiting lounge, kitchen, two restrooms, handicap ramp and parking pad.
A reception was held in the center, following the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Vincent Spann, U.S. Army Retired and founder said, “We’re going to connect veterans to local, state, and federal agencies. As a 501.c.3 organization, veterans will be connected to TECFO resources, transportation, employment, clothing, food and other available resources.
The veterans’ center will be open from 5-8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and every second and fourth Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
