Pedestrian Hit Then Leaves Scene - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

Friday, June 13

Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian hit in the 5000 block of University Drive. Officers arrived and learned that the victim left the scene before their arrival.

A Hamilton County fugitive was apprehended at Walmart. The individual had an outstanding warrant for Larceny.

A bonding agent surrendered a Collegedale fugitive. The individual was booked on warrants for DUI, driving on a revoked license, possession of a Schedule VI drug, and Drug Paraphernalia.

Officers responded to a smoke alarm in the 4800 block of University Drive. Everything checked ok.

A two-vehicle crash occurred in the 4800 block of University Drive.

Officers assisted a citizen with a dog locked in a vehicle in the 9300 block of Apison Pike.

Officers were dispatched to an alarm in the 5100 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. Everything checked ok.

A Collegedale fugitive was located at the Hamilton County Jail. The individual was booked on a warrant for driving on a revoked license.

Officers assisted a business remove a snake from the facility in the 9300 block of Messinger Lane.

Officers settled a disorder in the 5200 block of Kellog Creek Trail.

Saturday, June 14

A vehicle struck a deer in the 9500 block of Lee Highway.

Officers responded to reports of ATVs on the road in the Barrington County Circle subdivision. Officers searched the area and found no ATVs.

Officers checked a road hazard in the Fox Trails subdivision. Tricomm was able to secure the leaking fire hydrant.

Officers responded to a fire alarm in the 9100 block of Integra Hills Lane. Officers learned that a child pulled the fire alarm and everything was ok.

Officers advised a citizen on a civil matter at City Hall.

Officers were dispatched to a disorder in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. Officers did not observe any disorders in the area.

A traffic stop in the 5600 block of Main Street resulted in the driver getting arrested for DUI, violation of the implied consent law, possession of a Schedule VI drug with intent to resale, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Officers responded to a burglar alarm in the 10900 block of Apison Pike. Everything checked ok.

Officers checked the well-being of an individual in the 5000 block of Apison Villa Circle. The individual advised they were ok.

Sunday, June 15

Officers checked on an alarm in the 9000 block of Jetrail Drive. Everything checked ok.

Officers responded to a disorder at Arby's. Officers arrived and learned that the aggressor had already left the scene.

Officers assisted a broken-down motorist in the 3900 block of Darbo Lane.

Officers responded to a missing juvenile in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. The juvenile was found after a brief search.

A minor parking lot crash occurred in the 5900 block of Reagan Lane.

Officers responded to a road hazard in the 9200 block of Apison Pike.

Officers advised a private property owner on their options involving an improperly parked vehicle.

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the 9800 block of Apison Pike. Officers arrived and dispelled the suspicion.

A missing person was reported in the 9300 block of Apison Pike. The individual came home shortly after the report was made.

Hamilton County Deputies requested a K9 in the 10800 block of Ooltewah Georgetown Road. K9 Krino was deployed and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamines.

Officers received reports of an individual with a machete near the intersection of Apison Pike and Ooltewah Ringgold Road. Officers located the individual who was unarmed and ok.

An individual was charged with criminal trespass in the 5000 block of Little Debbie Parkway. The individual was eventually transported for a mental evaluation.
