Lexus Chambers, 21, Killed In Wreck On Broad Street; Driver Brian Eagle Is Seriously Injured

A 21-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle traffic crash on Broad Street early Sunday morning.
 
The victim was Lexus Chambers.
 
At approximately 1:43 a.m., Chattanooga Police were notified of a crash in the 2200 block of Broad Street. CPD's Traffic/DUI Division responded to the scene.
 
It was found that a Ford Crown Victoria was traveling south on Broad Street when the vehicle left the roadway to the right.
It then struck the column holding the bridge.
 
Ms. Chambers, passenger in the vehicle, was fatally injured in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene by Hamilton County EMS.
 
The driver, 23-year-old Brian Eagle, was transported by EMS to a local hospital with serious injuries.
