No Injuries Reported In House Fire Monday Afternoon On Dodds Avenue

Chattanooga firefighters responded to a house fire shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday at 1923 Dodds Ave.
 
Captain Chris Cordes with Engine 9 said heavy smoke and flames were visible when they arrived on the scene. Captain Cordes said firefighters with Engine 5 joined his crew and they quickly entered the structure from the front and back.
Fortunately, no one was found inside. 

As additional fire companies arrived on the scene, Captain Cordes said it took the firefighters about 10 minutes to get the blaze under control.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
