Seven UTC Tennis Players Named To Academic All-District Team

The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team landed four honorees on the 2024 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis squad, as selected by College Sports Communicators, which was recently released last week by the organization.

Among the Mocs who earned laurels include Gabriel Castillo, Peyton Gatti, Cortland Grove and Kristof Kincses. The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

FULL 2024 ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT TEAMS

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Three of the four Mocs (Castillo, Gatti & Grove) who were named to the district award list earned advancements through certain requirements and are now eligible for Academic All-America® honors with voting to close on May 21.

The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team featured three selections on the 2024 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators, which was recently released last week by the organization.
 
The three Mocs who earned recognition on the All-District® list includes Caroline Gibbens, Alice Hall and Emma Peeler. The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
