Goode, Larry Dwight (Ringgold)

Larry Dwight Goode, 67, of Ringgold, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, May 17, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Christian faith. Larry was a humble man, with an outgoing personality, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolly (Frank) Howington and Frank Goode; sisters, Loretta Goode and JoAnn Long; and brothers, Jimmy, Bobby and Billy Goode. 

Larry is survived by his loving wife, of 37 years, Teresa Goode; sons, Dwayne (Christa) Goode, Brian Proctor and Tyler Henley; daughters, Tonya Goode and Kimberly Foster; brother, David (Terri) Goode; sisters, Mary Charlotte Holdaway and Tennie Sparks; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 at the funeral home. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at Fall Creek Falls. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. 

The family would also like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga’s staff and doctors for the care and support given during this difficult time.
