Williejay Kaipo Kalaukoa
Williejay Kaipo Kalaukoa, 44, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019, in a local hospital.
He was born to and preceded in death by his parents, Willie James Winslow and Bernadette Kamaolana Kalaukoa on March 18, 1975, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Later he moved to Chattanooga, and attended Brainerd High School.
Williejay was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend to many. He was a god-fearing, loyal individual, and hard worker.
He leaves behind his wife, Rosalyn Kalaukoa; children, Vincent Kalaukoa, William Kalaukoa, Christian Kalaukoa, Jaiquez Kalaukoa, Ascáh Key Bailé Kalaukoa, Jaikaiya Kalaukoa, Tra’Mayne Johnson, and step-son, Ronnie Franklin, III; brother, Samuel Ikaikamunna Kalaukoa; sisters, Nicole Kalaukoa-Erskine and Nikki Triplett; nieces and nephews, Aolani Erskine, Demores (Ty) High, Mekhi Ikaika Kalaukoa, Tashana Triplett-Turner, Tolbert Triplett, IV, Tyra Triplett, and Macey Anderson; great-nephew, Logan Turner; best friend, Rafael Faust; a host of uncles; aunts; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be on Sunday, May 26, at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey A. Carter as the eulogist.
