Emma Ruth Gallman, age 91, of Tunnel Hill, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Florence Lingerfelt; her husband, Claude Gallman; three sisters, Mamie Fauscette, Dorothy Huggins and Clara Densmore; and three brothers, Ralph, Clarence and Clifford Lingerfelt.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill for over 50 years.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Reece (Ginny) Horne of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, April (Michael) Ogle and Jon (Amanda) Horne; great-grandchildren, Jamon and Sydney Horne, Grant Ogle, Taylor Ogle and Hailey Cronan; step-grandchildren, Scott Harris, Kristi Clinton, Jennifer McGaughey and Whitney Goble; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to send a special thank you to the caregivers of Emma.
The funeral service will be held Monday, June 17, at 2 p.m. in the Rocky Face Chapel with Rev. Keely Hasty and Rev. Mark Atkins officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 17, from 12-2 p.m.
