James Owenby
Two inmates walked away from a work detail at Thomaston, Ga. on Wednesday. The inmates are James Rodney Owenby, 27, and Zachery Glenn Rampley, 27.
On Wednesday, at approximately 1:39 a.m. ,after receiving reliable information, deputies responded to 503 Crook Road, Dalton. Upon arriving at the residence, deputies located Rampley inside the residence. Rampley was taken into custody without further incident.
Owenby is also suspected to be in the immediately area where Rampley was taken into custody. Owenby has ties to Murray and Whitfield counties.
Multiple agencies are on scene assisting in the search of Owenby.
