Marlene King
Marlene R. King, 81, of East Ridge passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019.
Marlene was a native of Kingsport, Tn., had lived several years in Stevenson, Al., where she was a 1956 graduate of Stevenson High School, and lived most of her life in East Ridge. She had worked in the office at American Insurance Company in Chattanooga. Marlene loved her family and she enjoyed taking of them, making sure they always had what they needed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude King.
Survivors include her children, Rhonda King, East Ridge, Teresa (Steve) Grant, Rossville, Gregg (Darlene) King, Pikeville, Tn.; two grandsons, Seth Randolph and McClain Grant; and long-time family friend, DeDra Totten.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 2:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 12-2 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
