Diana Carolina Smalley, 35, of Concord, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, September 24th, fighting her last battle with breast cancer, and stepping into eternity with her Savior Jesus Christ.

Diana was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia where she eventually earned her bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Catholic University of Bogota, graduating with honors. In 2014 she moved to Chattanooga, and married the love of her life, Cameron Smalley. She was proud to work at Miller Industries and would always try to spot their equipment out on the highways. In October 2015 Diana gave birth to her precious treasure, Isabella, and in July of 2019 Diana beamed as she officially became a U.S. citizen. She was a loving and tender mother, devoted wife, daughter, and sister. This world has not met a more genuinely kind, sincere, and loving person. Diana's kindness was unwavering and she always put others before herself. Diana you are missed terribly. Rest easy sweet angel and fight no more.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rosa Ines Ramirez.

Survivors include her husband, Cameron Smalley, children, Alyssa, Bryson, Caleb, and Isabella; mother Patricia Ruiz, father, Jose Caviedes; brother, David Caviedes, and sister, Sandra Caviedes.

Services will be held at Mile Straight Baptist Church in Soddy Daisy on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. Diana requested no one wear black.
