Deacon Homes announced the opening of its assisted care apartments at East Ridge Residence. Deacon Homes welcomes Ret. Rev. Brian Cole, Bishop of the Episcopal Church of East Tennessee, who will be blessing the facility.
“We are honored to have Bishop Cole at our event,” said Reverend John Rouser of Deacon Homes Chattanooga, “His blessings will ensure that our assisted care apartments are sanctified by the church.”
Deacon Homes was formed this year to provide the Chattanooga senior community affordable assistant care for those facing financial challenges. Officials said, "Deacon Homes’ mission is to provide a level of service that is unlike any other, believing it's not the bottom-line that drives success rather the bottom of our hearts."
The entire community is invited to attend the opening on Sunday, Sept. 8, at East Ridge Residence at 1417 North Mack Smith Road in East Ridge at 5 p.m.
