Man, 28, Is In Critical Condition After Shooting On Dorris Street

A 28-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting on Dorris Street in Alton Park.

At approximately 2:45 a.m., Chattanooga Police were called to a local hospital after a person arrived with injuries from gunshot wounds.
 
Police were informed by medical staff that the victim's injuries were considered life-threatening.
 
The victim arrived at the hospital via personal vehicle. The person who drove the victim to the hospital told police that the victim was shot as he was getting in the vehicle.
 
Police located a possible crime scene in the vicinity of 4380 Dorris St.
