Jack Gregory Burns Franklin, age 65, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at his resident.
He was born on January 24, 1954 to the late Jack and Jeannie Franklin.
Jack grew up in Marietta, Ga. He received his education in the Atlanta school system. Jack was an ambitious man. He later moved to Dallas, Ga. for a short time, before moving to Dalton in 2008. He worked with Providence Ministries before working for Georgia Department of Labor.
He is survived by his son, Gregory “Joshua” Franklin; three grandchildren, Athena, Ares, and Apollo Franklin; one sister, Rhonda (Bruce) Abraham; one brother, Stephen (Scarlett) Franklin; three nieces, Kathryn, Rebecca, and Caroline; and one nephew, Robbie Abraham.
