Eunice Mae Smith, 93, of Cleveland, passed away on September 26, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. Her favorite quote to base her life around was "yesterday is past and gone, we are here today but tomorrow is unknown." She was always impressive. An utterly amazing woman with lots of love to give all her friends and family. This was her purpose in life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlis “Johnny” Smith; son, Curtis Smith; parents, Henry & Allie Johnson; brothers, H.L. Johnson, Spence Johnson, Jarvis Johnson and Eugene Johnson; and sister, Dean Springfield.
She is survived by her sons, Allen (Wanda) Smith, Raymond (Cindy) Smith and Dewayne (Deb Rayfield) Smith; daughter-in-law, Diane Smith; grandchildren, Cheryl (Braden) Birch, Shawna (Joe) Awad, Angie Ross, Leslie(Wayne) King, Jeff (Jamie) Smith, Matt Smith; great-grandchildren, Caleb & Trevan Birch, Taylor (Danielle) King, Whitney (Oleg) Osechko, Tanner King, Hunter Ross, Carter Ross, Jasmine Smith and Jaden Smith; great-great grandchildren, Tinley King, Carson King and Cohen King; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Companion Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel, with Pastor Sammie Hooker and Chaplain Jim. Burial will be held at Chilcutt Cemetery, with pallbearers Jeff Smith, Taylor & Tanner King, Carter & Hunter Ross, Matt Smith, Jaden Smith and Oleg Osechko.
