Bethel SuperHeroes Run For Hope
The Bethel SuperHeroes Run for Hope 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk has been expanded this year to include both an in-person event starting on Bethel’s Hixson campus, as well as a virtual event for those who prefer to participate from their favorite walking or running spot. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, with line up at 8:15 a.m.
All registration is online this year and Bethel has instituted simple guidelines to keep everyone safe and spaced apart. You can see the full measures here.
Virtual Heroes for Hope can choose from the traditional 5K or 1 Mile Fun Walk, or up the difficulty by running a virtual 10K or Half Marathon.
Superhero costumes are highly encouraged (and add to the fun) but they are optional.
"We consider each runner or walker a true Hero for Hope and worthy of the cape,” said Rosalind Connor, Bethel president and CEO. “The proceeds of this event benefit kids who come to Bethel to overcome trauma. In addition to having a lot of fun, those who join us are making a difference by changing lives.”
