Arthur Miller, Jr., age 84, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in a Chattanooga health care facility.

He was the son of the late Thomas Arthur and Minnie Miller and was also preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Miller, and a son, Bob Miller.

Arthur was a long-time member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish but his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his sons, David Miller and his wife Joanna and Randy Miller; daughter, Sharon Hartness and her husband Billy; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Jim Miller; sisters, Katherine Simpson and Patricia Riggs; along with several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Friday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. at Samples Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Cameron officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery with grandsons serving as casket bearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 15, from 5-8 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Ave Chapel.
