MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Dalton State (Ga.) is a unanimous choice at the top of the 2020-21 SSAC Men's Golf Coaches' Preseason Poll.

2020-21 SSAC Men's Golf Coaches' Preseason Poll
1. Dalton State (Ga.) – 49 (7)
2. William Carey (Miss.) – 42
3. Loyola (La.) – 32
4. Mobile (Ala.) – 30
5. Blue Mountain (Miss.) – 19
6. Faulkner (Ala.) – 17
7. Brewton-Parker (Ga.) - 7

According to Dalton State head coach Ben Rickett, "A lot has happened since our last conference championship and when it comes to April, it would have been two years. It is extremely humbling to be put in this position, but it also means the target on your back gets bigger and you get everyone's best. Our process is the same each year and this year is no different. We have a young team with some experience so we will see how they develop throughout the season."

The Roadrunners will return 2019-20 SSAC Player of the Year Ben Rebne along with fellow First-Team All-Conference selection Matthew Cleary, while William Carey returns All-Conference selections Colby Blake and Colby Entriken.

Loyola returns Newcomer of the Year Carter Nicholson, while Mobile brings back a pair of All-Conference selections in J Michael Riley and Noah Martino.
