Edith Mae Wright, 86, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020.  

She was born May 17, 1934 in Acworth, Georgia, to the late Thomas David & Mamie Alberta Scott. 

Mrs. Wright was retired from Memorial Hospital after 30 years of service and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. 

Several brothers and sisters preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her children, Greg (Angie) Wright of Rossville, GA, Kim (Sam) Hicks of Kennsington, GA, and Tim (Carla) Wright of Rossville, GA; sister, Catherine Prince of Chattanooga, TN; eight grandchildren, Dusty (Jessica) Wright, Garrett (Miranda) Wright, Nicole Eide, Jon (Anna) Eide, Ian Wright, Nathan Wright, Trent (Liz) Abell, and Aircia Hedges; seven great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.  

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. in the East Chapel with Rev. Robert K. Schrader officiating.  Burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

The service will be livestreamed on the Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel Facebook page.

Due to COVID-19, all guidelines set in place of social distancing by the CDC must be followed.  Face coverings are required according to the Hamilton County mandate.
