Shelley Jayne Walker Mason, 41, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had spent her work life in the food service industry.

Shelley was a talented golfer. She attended GPS and became a member of the varsity golf team in the eighth grade. She graduated from Boyd Buchannan and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She was an original member of the Chattanooga Girls Choir.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dr. Elizabeth Dickinson Karsner and brother, Claude Bernard “Bernie” Walker, IV.

Shelley is survived by her daughter, Karma K. Mason, father, Claude (Sharon) Bernard Walker III, brother, Dr. Michael D. (Mindy) Walker, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center, 3067 Ooltewah Ringgold Road, Ooltewah, Tn. 37363.

Burial was held in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
