Boyd, Christine Robinson

Christine Robinson Boyd, 95, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. She loved her family and was a devoted Christian who loved to sing. Christine enjoyed gardening and traveling, and was a great cook. She was a member of Ashland Terrace Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Maggie Bodenhamer; husband, Loren Boyd; children, Estell Lamar and Warren Ray, Jr.; sisters, Opal Huff and Lois Braddock; and brother, Lewis Bodenhamer.

Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn (Paul) Parker, Denise Smith and Debbie Robinson; sons, Windell (Joyce) Robinson, Rondell (Aundra) Robinson, Hilton (Bernice) Robinson, C. J. (Janice) Robinson and Matthew (Summer) Boyd; special sister-in-law, Betty Teachout; best friend, Jackie Leichty; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Brother Ed Horner and Chaplin Matthew Boyd officiating. Burial will be held in Poplar Springs Cemetery on Sand Mountain.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. and Sunday from noon-2 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ashland Terrace Baptist Church.
