McGrath spent his college career with Evansville Purple Aces, where he amassed 26 goals in 71 appearances.

“I’m really excited to be a part of Chattanooga Football club” said McGrath.  “I’m looking forward to playing in front of this great city and its fans and helping the team be successful in its first professional year.”

The 6’4” box to box midfielder has impressed in every stop of his career, even earning a spot on the FC Buffalo all decade team, despite only playing one year with the club.
McGrath is known for a commanding presence in midfield, and his height enables him to dominate 50/50 balls and dictate possession.
