Dog Rescued From House Fire On Givens Road

Chattanooga firefighters responded to a second alarm residential fire in the 1000 block of Givens Road around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

There was no entrapment or injuries. A dog was rescued.
 
The first-in company reported a working fire with heavy flames on the porch, extending into the attic.
 
An aggressive attack was made on the fire, and crews had it out in 15 minutes.
 
The cause is under investigation.
