Ireland's Award-Winning Folk Duo Byrne And Kelly Bring Their "Songs And Stories" Tour To Chattanooga

As two of the principal singers in the international singing group Celtic Thunder, Neil Byrne and Ryan Kelly sought to navigate their own path into music history with the creation of Byrne and Kelly. Their 2020 U.S. tour includes a stop in Chattanooga at The Granfalloon on Thursday, March 26. The concert begins at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $38 and special Meet & Greet tickets are $60, which includes the concert and a photo opportunity with the duo.

Bio of Byrne and Kelly:

Driven by dynamic vocal harmonies, the duo seamlessly combines genres of traditional Irish and Americana to create a fresh, Celtic folk sound that has been compared to iconic folk-rock duos like Simon & Garfunkel and The Everly Brothers.

Their Songs and Stories Tour features the duo performing classic Irish tunes, Celtic Thunder favorites and most importantly original Byrne and Kelly songs focusing on their rich storytelling of Irish culture. Neil Byrne and Ryan Kelly are joined by Nicole Hudson on fiddle and Peter Sheridan on mandolin and keyboard.
 
During the course of  four albums and a documentary film, Byrne and Kelly has reached #1 on the Billboard World Music Chart, #1 on the iTunes World Music Chart, as well as  #1 on Amazon Traditional Folk and #1 Amazon Traditional British & Folk charts  Their documentary film Echoes: The Story was broadcast on various PBS stations across America, reached the Top 5 of Amazon’s Top Documentaries list, was chosen as an official selection at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and most recently picked up two awards from the World Music and Independent Film Festival for “Best Music Documentary” and “Best Original Soundtrack.” In 2013, Byrne and Kelly were awarded “Best Duo in a Concert, Pub or Festival” and “Best New Album” for Acoustically Irish by the Irish Music Association.
