Michelle Lynn Butler Davidson, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, suddenly passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 65.

Michelle was born on Nov. 24, 1954, to L.V. and Minnie E. Butler in Dallas, Tx. Her parents moved to Norfolk, Va. where her brother, Michael was born and then came to settle in Chattanooga in 1963, making Washington Hills their lifelong home community.

She graduated from Central High School in 1972, where she was an all around good student with multiple and many achievements including being one of the first black cheerleaders at Central, a homecoming queen candidate, a student council member, and vice president of the FBLA.  After graduation she held a number of jobs in and out of the city, working for Bob Corker, the Urban League, UTC, and University of Alabama. Eventually she came to settle back home and worked for Memorial Hospital from 2004 - 2011. She was also an active member at Washington Hills United Methodist, playing a big part with the United Methodist Women.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her daughter, Kelly C. Boston and her brother, Michael S. Butler with a host of other family members and friends.

Due to safety precautions, there will not be a memorial service until a later date.
