Maurice Lamar Hogan, 90, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 peacefully at Regency Park.

He was the son of the late Troy and Velva Hogan and was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sybil Williams Hogan.

Maurice was a lifetime member of Central Church of Christ, where he served that congregation as treasurer for over 50 years. He was an avid bowler for many years making lifelong friends in various leagues and tournaments. After two years in the Army, Maurice went to work at L.A. Lee, and in 1971, started Dalton Printing and Office Supply. He also founded F & H Stamp over 60 years ago. He enjoyed going to Bradley Wellness Center for many years and making numerous friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Eliska (Bob) Lee of Dalton; granddaughter, Meredith Lee (Richard) Milburn of Dalton; sisters, Barbara Munson of Tucker, Ga. and Sonya Burleyson of Atlanta, Ga.; and nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to the staff of Regency Park for all the love and care given over the last several months.

A private service will be held at Love Funeral Home with Minister Ross Jordan and Minister Steve Griggs officiating.

Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Central Church of Christ, P.O. Box 1201, Dalton, Ga. 30722.
