Brett Shannon Sherrill, 41, of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.

Brett was born on June 7, 1979, in Fort Oglethorpe, to Donna Jean Sherrill. He was a Christian and attended Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe High School.  Brett earned his GED and attended trade school where he became a journeyman pipefitter. He was a member of the Local Pipefitters and Steamfitters Union #43. Brett was very proud of his work relationships and being part of the union family. He was a very loving father to his three daughters, enjoyed fishing, motorcycle rides, and being in the outdoors. Brett’s favorite activity was spending time on Aetna Mountain mudding in his Jeeps. If you ever needed anything fixed, house or car, he would jump right in and help. Brett never met a stranger, could always put a smile on your face, and will be forever missed.

Brett was preceded in death by his niece, Courtney Ashton Crosson and grandmother, Agnes Leona Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Corbitt Sherrill; daughters, Hannah Sherrill, Katlyn Sherrill, and Henley Sherrill; step-children, Madison Edwards and Trent Edwards; parents, John and Donna Pinkerton; sister, Krissi (Oscar) Suarez; several step-siblings; nephews, Zachary Reynolds and Maverick Suarez; nieces, Lauren and Presleigh Suarez; and good friends, the Stephenson family.
