Freddie Lebron Ramsey, 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. He was a gifted carpenter and dry wall man. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Ramsey; mother, Polly Hout; father, Fred “Dick” Ramsey; son, Lee Hogan; and brother, John Ramsey.
He is survived by his son, Bud (Melissa “Moe”) Ramsey; daughter, Cindy (Billy “Will”) Ledford; brother, Dale Ramsey, of Florida; sisters, Tina “Mickey” Bettis and Jennifer “Hope” Ramsey; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several other grands and greats that he called his own.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13 at Mount Zion New Covenant Church, 358 Gamble Road in Georgetown. They will also have visitation at the church on Friday, Aug. 14 from 2-4 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4 p.m., with Pastor Ronnie Davis officiating. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.
