Roberta K. Woods, 92, passed away on September 8, 2020.

 

She retired from Erlanger Hospital. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Woods; father, William Oliver Kent; mother, Ada Godhigh Kent; brother, William Kent; sister, Pauline Wyatt, all of Rockmart, Ga. 

 

Survivors include her son, Joel Terrell; daughter-in-law, Angela Terrell; grandsons, Jerome and Joel Terrell; granddaughters, December (Michael) Courtwright, Nicole (William) Armaline; sister, Evelyn Prater, Rockmart, Ga.; 13 great-grandchildren; goddaughter, Mercedes Jones; nieces, Roberta Benham, Barbara Harris; nephews, Alvin Hutchins, Miles Hutchins, Marvin Kent; dear friend, Valerie Jennings; a host of other relatives and friends.

 

Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Right at Home. 

 

Public viewing will be held from 2–6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held privately. 

 

Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
