Watson, Roy Cecil "Tiny" (Cleveland)

Roy Cecil (Tiny) Watson, 80, entered into his Heavenly home September 10, 2020. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked at Magic Chef (Whirlpool), retired as a Bradley County school bus driver and a driver for the Ladies of Lee at Lee University, and his hobby was being a farmer a cabinet maker and doing woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R. B. Watson and Rosa Mae Carden Watson; a brother, Glen Watson; and a son, Jeff Watson.

He is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years, Alene Fisher Watson; daughter, Dottie (Tim) Sneed; son, Chris (Shelley) Watson; granddaughters, Rachel (David) Kohn, Emily Anderson, Leeann Parris, Ashley Watson and Laney Watson; grandson, Logan Watson; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Reba Gentry and Jane (Donald) Seaborn; brothers, Raymond (Judy) Watson and Randy (Darlene) Watson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Randy Bass; sister-in-law, Carolyn Watson; several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews; and a church family in which he loved and served as a deacon for 53 years.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, Sept. 12 from 5-7 p.m. in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A celebration of his life service will take place on Saturday evening following the visitation time at 7 p.m., with the Reverend Collin Cook and the Reverend James Vaughn officiating.

The interment and committal service will take place on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
