Melba Wiseman
Melba Jean Stewart Wiseman, 81, of Chattanooga, died on September 25, 2020.
Melba was born the daughter of the late Howard D. and Ova Lee (Goins) Stewart on May 11, 1939. Melba was raised in Chattanooga and a graduate of City High School, class of 1957. She was a faithful member of Mountain Creek Church of Christ where she was a caregiver to many friends and she baked and shared many cakes using Maw’s recipes.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Infant Sarah Stewart and Judy Ann Stewart.
She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, J.B. Wiseman, daughters, Kim (Jeff) Keylon, Karen (George) Lancaster, grandchildren, Lindsay Keylon, Preston (Abby) Lark, Ashley and Andrew Lancaster as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The family will have a private graveside service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens officiated by Minister Ken Chambers.
