David Justin Spangler, 53, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021, in Metairie, Louisiana.
He was born on June 15, 1967, to Virginia Strickland and Jerry Spangler. He was a risk control consulting director with CNA Insurance Company for 25 years. David was selfless, loving and generous. He was always willing to help anyone.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Hebert Spangler, loving parents, Virginia (Ken) Strickland and Jerry (Betty) Spangler, stepson, Daniel (Via) Schwab, sister, Sonja (Anthony) Sanders, step-granddaughters and a nephew.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 12-2 p.m., followed by the funeral in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
