Mary Allison Levi, known by all as Mamie, 78, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

She was the daughter of the late "Baby" Cummings and Joe Allison. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Allison, and her beloved aunt, "Tootsie" Hood.

Mamie attended The Bright School, Girls Preparatory School, Saint Mary's School, and graduated from Chattanooga High School.  She owned and operated Dolls and Guys, a children's clothing store, where she enjoyed dressing countless children for over 20 years. After retirement, Mamie enjoyed interior decorating, a talent she inherited from her mother. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Good Shepherd.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jimmy, and her three children; Allison Wright (Pat) of Lookout Mountain; Joe Levi (Ashley) of Nashville; Mary Kiger (John) of Charleston, SC; she is also survived by her seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Jimmy, Cummings, Katherine, Mamie, Mary Caroline, Annabel, Worth, and Kinsley.

It was always about family and friends with Mamie!

The family will have a private service at The Church of Good Shepherd Memorial Garden followed by a celebration of Mamie's life in her yard at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Church of Good Shepherd or a charity of your choice.
