Shairl Darlene McClellan, age 73, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021.
She was born on Dec. 1, 1947.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Otis Richerson (Fort Meade, FL); mother, Minnie Lee Richerson (Fort Meade, FL)'; brother; Otis Richerson (Fort Meade, FL); brother, James Richerson (TN); and son, H.M. Owen (Fort Meade, FL).
She is survived by her sister, Betty Cantrell (Augusta, GA); daughter, Shairl Fields (Winter Haven, FL); daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Bartley Norton (Tunnel Hill, GA); and son and daughter-in-law, James and Lisa Owen (Tunnel Hill, GA); grandchildren, Ben Smith (Fort Meade, FL), Alex and Becky Smith (Hamilton, TN), Jennifer Smith (Winter Haven, FL), Christopher and Tiffany Bagley (Piedmont, AL), Joshua and Kayla Norton (Resaca, GA), Kimberly and Chandler Rickett (Cohutta, Ga), Alyssa Owen and fiancé Ryan Slatton (Tunnel Hill, GA), and Kyle Owen (Tunnel Hill, GA); great -grandchildren, Hailey and Hunter Bagley, Kolton and Everleigh Norton, Emersyn Rickett, Daunte Russell, Mackienze and Dixie Smith, Kaily, Holly, Sean, Sarah and Dillon Smith.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 24, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Marty Bell officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday, Jan. 24, from 2-4 p.m.
