Jamya LaShay Parker “My My”, 12, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. 

She was a student at Brown Middle School.  

She was preceded her in death by her grandparents, Charles and Flora Parker, Sr.  

Survivors include her parents, Charles Parker, Jr. of Chattanooga and Katrina Carter of Charlotte, NC; grandparents, Dearlean Carter Toe and Reginald Hill of Charlotte; great-grandparents, Jacqueline Hill of Charlotte; siblings, Justice, Damyion, Paul, Latrayier, Elijah, Charles, III, all of Chattanooga, Bryson of Augusta, GA, Michaelos, Jalen, Maria, all of Charlotte; special aunts and uncle, Shatarra Carter of Charlotte, Nancy Parker and William Drew of Peekskill, NY; best friend, Destini McKnight of Chattanooga, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.  

Jamya will lie in state on Friday, Jan. 29, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. A family service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ronald Cook, Sr. as the eulogist. 

Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
