Wiley Davis
Wiley D. Davis, 84 of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
He was born in Birchwood, Tn., to the late Elisha and Hannah Orlena Shell Davis. Wiley loved cars; antique cars, muscle cars and especially Corvettes! He was the past president of the Corvette Club of Chattanooga. Wiley was employed with Textile Printing Company for over 40 years.
Wiley was known for sense of humor and never meeting a stranger because of his love to talk to people. He was a skilled antique repairman and enjoyed looking for antiques as well. In the last few years, his enjoyment was listening to the music at the Birchwood Family Opry.
Wiley was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Davis.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Delores S. Davis; daughter, Cathy (Ken) Denham; grandson, Jason Denham and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, at Greenwood Cemetery, with Bill Denham officiating.
Wiley’s family ask that you make a memorial contribution to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, 2009 Curtain Pole Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37406, as he was an avid supporter of the wonderful organization.
