#14 Dalton State Soccer Ends Season In NAIA Championships

 The 2021 season for #14 Dalton State ended on Saturday with a 3-0 loss to #6 Keiser (Fla.) in the opening round of the NAIA Championships at Keiser Multi-Purpose Field in West Palm Beach, Fla.

#14 Dalton State (Ga.) ends the season at (13-6-1 overall) with the loss, while #6 Keiser improves to (13-3-1 overall) with the win and advances to the final site of the NAIA Championship.
 
The Roadrunners carried the shot lead in the first half 6-1 but the Seahawks came alive in the second period to outshoot DS 16-2. KU barely held the advantage on frame at 5-3.

First Half:

Second Half: 
(1-0 KU) KU: Lucas Jacobs broke a 0-0 tie in the 52' with an assist from Alvaro Jimenez Valer.
(2-0 KU) KU: Hannu Tam extended the Seahawk lead late with a goal in the 80'.
(3-0 KU) KU: Tam made a Roadrunner win even tougher with another goal in the 88'.
