CFC, Fuller Agree To Part Ways

Monday, November 22, 2021
The Chattanooga Football Club will officially begin a national search for its new head men’s coach as the Club and Head Coach Peter Fuller have mutually agreed to part ways.

“We are extremely grateful to Coach Fuller and the experience he brought to our team during the transition to a professional club,” said CFC Managing Director Jeremy Alumbaugh. “Our focus now shifts to identifying a dynamic leader to carry us into the next phase, continue to build our culture and bring more championships to Finley Stadium.”

Fuller joined Chattanooga FC as associate head coach in 2019 and was promoted to head coach for the 2020 Season.

Fuller previously served on coaching staffs for the New England Revolution and Philadelphia Union in the MLS.
As a college coach in the NAIA, he won national championships with Belhaven and Mobile.

“Just want to say thank you to everyone affiliated with Chattanooga Football Club!,” said Peter Fuller.

“My two almost three years here have been wonderful! Myself my wife Cathy and my son Robby have loved the city and have been treated warmly. To the Chattahooligans and to our fan base I thank you so much for your support and great love that you always showed me. I will always be a fan. I thank you for everything that you guys have given to me and my family. I wish you well in the future. Go CFC!”

CFC concluded the 2021 Season on Saturday with a record of 11-15-4 in all NISA professional matches and a 3-0 record in the NISA Independent Cup.
