Local Eagle Scouts Honored For Achievement And Service

  • Friday, December 3, 2021

The Cherokee Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America is grateful to the Chattanooga community and sellout crowd for helping it honor the 2020-2021 Eagle Scout Class at the Gathering of Eagles.

This event was held on Friday at the Westin in downtown Chattanooga and featured Jed Mescon
as master of ceremonies with an address from County Mayor Jim Coppinger’s office.

This dinner served as the Council’s largest, and most important, recognition event for local Scouts and adult volunteers.

The 2020-2021 Eagle Scout Class contributed more than 20,000 hours of service to their local communities through 119 projects.

This Eagle Scout class is especially exciting as it is the first in the history of local Scouting to include young women, said officials.
